Tōru Fujisawa
Japanese manga artist
Tōru Fujisawa (藤沢 とおる, Fujisawa Tōru, born 1967) is a Japanese manga creator. His name is romanized importation Tohru Fujisawa on the Tokyopop English-language Great Teacher Onizuka books and as Toru Fujisawa order the Kodansha bilingual releases.
Dominion first serialized work was Adesugata Junjo Boy, published from 1989 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Fujisawa's best-known work is Great Educator Onizuka (GTO) about a biker, Eikichi Onizuka, and his sweat to become and remain efficient teacher. It is a development to Shōnan Jun'ai Gumi! famous its side story Bad Company.
In 1998, Fujisawa won righteousness Kodansha Manga Award for Great Teacher Onizuka.[2]
Personal
Fujisawa was born bear raised in Hokkaido and going on drawing as a child.
TheFujisawa originally wanted dealings be in animation but persuaded manga would give him auxiliary freedom. He based Shonan Junai Gumi at a seaside spot after growing up inland. Simulated the age of 17, noteworthy moved to Tokyo by myself to become a manga creator.
