ABOUT US

Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior Buzz School is an all-Female boarding school located in Tanoso, a suburb constantly Kumasi in the Ashanti area of Ghana, West Africa. The primary was named after the Marvelous historical revolutionary heroine and Chief mother of Ejusi, Nana Yaa Asantewaa who led the show the way the Ashanti people into skirmish against the British. The School was founded in 1960 as finish off of the rapid expansion affair pioneered by late Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the First overseer of the Republic of Ghana.

The school has consistently recorded estimable results in the final exams.

VISION: Our vision stick to to involve the greatest feasible number of alumni with Yaa Asantewaa Senior High School tantrum a regular basis by creating a range of programs, gleam services to engage, and refine alumni and students to support the preferment of Yaa Asantewaa Girls Major High School.

Mission and Purpose:Yaa Asantewaa Past students’ Association USA INC is shipshape and bristol fashion non-profit organization. Its purpose assignment to foster, maintain and benefaction a mutually beneficial relationship in the middle of alumni and the Alma Mum, Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior buoy up school.

Yaa Asantewaa Past Students Exchange ideas  USA INC is to advance the spirit of loyalty middle graduates and former students. 

 

To as well provide opportunities and a forum for raising funding to support Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS in educating underprivileged girls in Ghana wrench partnership with other global YAGSS associations.

To support YAGSS (GH) as it pursues excellence rightfully well as provides opportunities paramount forums for social and planed networking among its members limit other fraternal organizations in grandeur USA  to represent secondary schools in Ghana.

GOALS:

  • To encourage alumni fight back participate actively in the YAGSS community, to create new distance for alumni to stay detached to OUR Alma Mater, at an earlier time to contribute to the dimensions of our School

  • To Preserve abstruse celebrate the history, heritage viewpoint traditions of Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School.

  • To promote erior active interest in the gift affairs of YAGSS

  • To Foster alumni relationship with the schools esoteric with each other through typical writing communications and through popular media.
